MySpace code 101

Myspace code 101 Loads of sites like www.myspace.com allow you to message people, and sometimes you want to put a picture or a website link in your comment/message/post. Here’s the basic html to type in the code view of your comment… 

how to put in a link to a website :

 <a href=”http://www.mywebsitelink.com t”>My website link</a>

 or <a href=”http://www.jimsfunnysite.com”>JimothyWimothy</a> 

To put in a link to a picture (adding a picture) first find the picture you want to add online, right click on the picture, choose properties and copy the url.. i.e. http://www.jimsfunnysite.com/funnypic.jpg and then in the comments post just write this: 

<img src=”http://www.jimsfunnysite.com/funnypic.jpg“ /> 

that’s it, so to put in a captain beaky pic I would have written something like this in the comment box:

  <a href=”http://www.captainbeaky.com”>CaptainBeaky.com</a><img src=”http://www.captainbeaky.com/images/stories/beakyband.png“ />sending you beaky love! 

So yeah just find a pic online and use that formula above. If that makes no sense and you think I’m talking complete gobbledygook (!) then go to a site like www.myspacegeeks.com and they have graphics for you to use and the code is already written, so for glitter graphics you can go here: http://www.myspacegeeks.com/myspace-graphics/glitter-graphics/ and just copy the code into the comments box :D  hey presto!
